The 50-Year Limited Labor & Material Warranty is available ONLY through applicators who have been trained and are authorized as Gold Star Applicators.
The following are highlights of the 50-Year Limited Labor & Material Warranty, subject to the terms and limitations therein:
The 50-Year Limited Labor & Material Warranty is non-prorated for the first 15 years of coverage. After the first 15 years, EcoStarTM will pay a percentage of the reasonable replacement costs as outlined within the warranty. This percentage is derived by dividing the number of months remaining in the warranty period by the number of months in the original warranty period. The 50-Year Limited Labor & Material Warranty includes responsibility for the workmanship and labor to install all the EcoStar products. The 50-Year Limited Labor & Material Warranty includes coverage for any product blow offs caused by winds less than 70 m.p.h. for the first ten (10) years of the warranty.
The following procedure must be followed for issuance of a warranty:
STEP 1: Prior to the start of the project the EcoStar Gold Star Authorized Applicator must complete the attached Project Survey Form. All informtion on this form must be completed, including the addition of the roof drawing.
STEP 2: The Project Survey Form is MAILED to the Technical Department. After review, the EcoStar Gold Star Authorized Applicator will be notified of the assigned EcoStar Project Number.
STEP 3: Upon completion of the project it is the responsibility of the EcoStar Gold Star Authorized Applicator to notify the Technical Department and request a final inspection of the project.
STEP 4: A final EcoStar inspection shall be made by an EcoStar Technical Representative. The inspector will inform the applicator if there are any deficiencies which will require re-inspection. If a
re-inspection is not required, a final inspection report will be forwarded to the Technical Department.
STEP 5: Upon receipt of the final inspection report the Technical Department will issue a 50-Year Limited Labor & Material Warranty.
COST
All EcoStar Warranties are provided free of charge, but all technical support will be invoiced at the following rates:
